Welcome to
Grayswood Church of England Primary School
Welcome to our School. We are a one form entry primary school, with a Forest School, in the beautiful village of Grayswood, Surrey. We believe in creative and innovative teaching that engages pupils’ interest and inspires a love of learning.
We have expanded from an infant school to a primary school and now have children from YR to Y6. The new school buildings are spacious and our purpose built hall is a stunning addition to the school environment. Our pupils enjoy bright classrooms; all KS1 have access to the outside and the Early Years has a large purpose-built area dedicated to outdoor learning. Our school site also incorporates an attractive wooded area for Forest School sessions.
The school is a friendly, village school where everyone is known and cared for. Our Christian school values (love, kindness, respect, teamwork, perseverance, forgiveness) and mission statement (Love one another as I have loved you) underpins the relationships in our school. Teachers and pupils care for one another and treat each other with respect and kindness which allows teachers to challenge and stretch pupils, helping them to persevere to achieve their potential.
Our Forest School is exceptional - during sessions children explore the natural environment and learn collaboration, cooperation and team building.
Our Governors have overseen the school expansion and are committed, enthusiastic and keen to continue the development of our lovely school. We have very supportive parents and PTA (FROGS) who raise extra funds for the school.
Our website aims to give you a taster of the school, but please come and visit for yourself – our Year 6 children love to show visitors the school and I would be happy to meet you and answer any further questions.
