To reduce traffic congestion and ensure the safety of all pedestrians, we have put together a plan.
Things we are doing include:
1. A voluntary one-way system
2. Staggered finishing times
3. Car-sharing arrangements
4. Considerate parking
5. Improved safety plans
6. Kiss and Drop
Our voluntary one-way system for parents/guardians at pick-up and drop-off times has already improved congestion. This involves ensuring that all school-related traffic travels along Lower Road, up Clammer Hill Road (Klondyke) and back down The Mount. This greatly helps traffic flow and will do more so the more people who adopt it.
