Welcome back to Summer Term in Kites!
I hope you had a lovely Easter break and made the most of the sunshine. A huge thank you for the lovely Easter messages you put together for me; they brought many tears to my eyes, and the clip has been watched numerous times- I miss you all lots.
I’ve been very busy and you’ll be pleased to know there's lot’s of learning ready for you! The last few weeks have, no doubt, been an emotional rollercoaster for you, with many questions still unanswered. We at Grayswood, care a lot about your emotional and spiritual wellbeing. During this very unsettling time in your life, and as part of Grayswood's Christian values and ethos, Mrs Harris (the R.E. co-ordinator) has put up some lovely, reflective activities and videos to support you at home. Should you wish, please do take a look! You can find Home Learning for this via this link: Grayswood Christian Values and Ethos.
I will continue to write my daily notes and set maths and English. In addition to this, each day I will also set an additional lesson which will cover the learning we would have undertaken during our afternoon sessions. Throughout the coming weeks, if there is something you find tricky, please do not worry, maybe you could think of your own alternative. I am thinking of you at home and I am happy that you are safe with your families. Please see below for the weekly timetable (although it is subject to change!)
Tuesday: Topic (History/Geography)
Wednesday: Computing or R.E.
Thursday: French or PSHE
Friday: Art or Design & Technology
OK, so it’s not quite the term we envisaged. However, together we will make the most of your last term at Grayswood and in the words of
Jon Bon Jovi, make sure you leave in a ‘Blaze of Glory’!
Please keep in touch and continue to send in the photographs.
