Our Church and Community

At Grayswood Primary, we greatly value our Christian distinctiveness. We are in the very special position of having All Saints Church, Grayswood as an integral part of our school community.

Vicar's welcome

Hi,

My name is Reverend Fi Gwynn and I am the Priest in Charge at All Saints Church in Grayswood.

I am so pleased that you are looking at the website of our wonderful school.

As well as being the ‘Vicar’ I am also a Governor at the school. I am incredibly fortunate to have been a part of this school for very many years. My own children were pupils here and I also worked here before I was Ordained.

The school is a very special place and if you come and have a look around you will see and feel it for yourself.

I come into the school once a week for assembly and we have services in the church at various points during the year, including Harvest, Christmas and Easter. I also help with RE lessons in the classrooms and individual class visits to the church to cover specific curriculum topics. The children are inquisitive and open and often pose very challenging questions for me to answer.

The school values are demonstrated by staff and pupils throughout the school in words and actions, and whilst we are a Church of England school, we are mindful of those with differing beliefs or none.

Nothing beats coming and visiting for yourself and I do hope that you will come and see for yourself how our Christian values are embedded in our pupils.

I look forward to meeting you.

Rev Fi
