Surrey Commercial Services provide a school meals service to Surrey schools, including Grayswood Primary School.

Their three week menu cycle offers greater variety for the children. For current menu information please follow the link to their website My School Lunches. It details menus, tips on healthy eating, and contact details. All our pupils are supervised whilst eating and are gently encouraged to eat their lunch. If your child appears to be having any difficulty with their food at midday we will let you know. Equally if you have any concerns about how they are eating please do come and speak to us. Please inform us of any allergies with an accompanying doctor’s letter to confirm any requirements.

The two course nutritionally balanced meal costs £2.20 per day and must be paid for in advance.

You can now download the Autumn Winter 2016-17 Menu from the link above, this will be served in Surrey Schools from Monday 31st October 2016 and run until Friday 31st March 2017.
Our children have the option to eat a cooked school meal at lunchtime or bring a packed lunch from home.
Free School Meals (for those who have to pay for school meals and may be entitled not to) and Pupil Premium
If you think you may be entitled to Free School Meals (this is not the same as the Universal Free School Meals in EYFS and KS1) or Pupil Premium please contact the School Office directly who will respect and deal with any enquiries in total confidence. Please contact our school office if you think you may be entitled.
Paying for School Meals (KS2 Years 3-6 only)
School meals can be paid for weekly or half termly by cash, online or by cheque made payable to Surrey County Council with Grayswood Primary School written on the reverse. The current cost of a meal is £2.20 per day / £11.00 per week. If you choose to have school meals an invoice will be sent to you at the beginning of each term with the amount due. Please give as much notice as possible, and at least one week, if you intend to change from school meals to packed lunch or vice versa.
All money being sent into school for whatever reason should go directly to the school office, in a named envelope and not put in your child’s book bag.
If you would like to pay online please contact the school office who will provide online payment instructions and logging in details specific to your child / children. Please find the online payment link below which you can follow once you have received your log in instructions.
If your child is under five you are entitled to receive free school milk. If you would like your child to receive free school milk leaflets are available from the school office if you wish to apply or you can follow the link below. If your child is starting in Reception this September please do apply for your free school milk before your child/children's start date.
