This is just a short introduction from Friends of Grayswood School, or FROGS for short. FROGS organise social and fundraising events throughout the year and encourage the involvement of all our families. All parents are automatically members. The Annual General Meeting is held in the Autumn term and this is when the new Committee is elected allowing our new parents to take an active role in their child’s school from the very start. We are a very enthusiastic, active and supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA) who raise funds for the school by organising fun events for the children and parents. All the monies raised by FROGS go directly toward enriching our children’s experience during their time at the school, except where FROGS raise money in collaboration with the school for the local and national charities we support.
FROGS annual social and fundraising events include:
Charity fundraisers include:
We work closely with Mrs Fraser, our Headteacher and the teaching team to discuss how the money raised can be best used.
It's incredibly simple. As each parent at the school is automatically a member of FROGS and we would love you to join in by helping out with events or even better, join the committee and give us the benefit of your enthusiasm, skills and expertise! It only takes your help once each year, either through the 100 Club or participating to make enormous difference to school, and it’s a great way to meet other parents. FROGS are continually surprised and thankful to the amazing parents and children who work so hard to raise money for our school.
