At Grayswood Primary we greatly value our Christian distinctiveness. We are in the very special position of having All Saints Church, Grayswood as an integral part of our school community. The Rev. Barbara Steele-Perkins visits us regularly to lead assemblies and our pupils and staff visit the church through out the year to attend services and celebrate key festivals in the Christian Calendar. All Saints Church is only a brief walk across the village green and visible from the school. Our pupils support their learning by visiting the church as part of the school's RE and Art curriculum. In addition our Year 2 Robins Class attend each year Easter workshops at Guildford Cathedral.
A particularly special time for our school is Pause Day. Pause day is when our pupils are given time to think about the world they live in and say thank you. The children take part in Godly Play sessions and workshops combined with visitors from Guildford Cathedral and All Saints Church to talk about prayer and reflection. Pause day helps our pupils express and celebrate the Christian ethos of Grayswood Primary School.
