Thank you so much to the 98% of you who park and use your careful safety near the school. There are just three pressure areas where a very small number of people continue to park despite being asked not to! The places are: (1) opposite Grayswood House, (2) the bottom of the Mount where it joins Lower Road and (3) at the start of Lower Road from the Grayswood Road end. Parking here restricts sight lanes and makes an accident more likely.
It has been a very good half term – so many classes have produced excellent projects and art and craft projects. Sport and games are flourishing, mainly due to our amazing Sports Leader, Louise Taylor. We are talking today about making a great sports day here, federation and district sports, introducing fencing and ballet and competitive events for all age groups. Look out for more information in the coming weeks.
Finally, a word of thanks to our loyal and thoughtful focus group. Last night there were 12 of us and our main topic was a final review of our Relationships and Sex Education Policy. We made some important changes and I will attach the final agreed document to a newsletter early next half term.
Do have a really good holiday and I look forward to seeing you early next half term.
With best wishes
